OPI Crim-Sun

I found two bottles of this polish on vacation recently along with two bottles of Coral Reef. Both are (linear) Holographic polishes from the same collection (2003 Summer for Shore). Crim-Sun is a Pink polish. In the bottle it looks more like an orange pink and by the name one might assume it s a crimson color. I was disappointed in this polish. I did not like the color at all once I got it on. I am sure it looks fabulous on some people but it just didn't work with my skin tone. I don't mind it as much on my toes but I took it off my fingernails the day after i put it on.
Like most linear holographic polishes the formula was thin. I find scattered holographic polishes are usually much more thick but can sometimes get splotchy (like you will see a thin spot randomly on your nail for no reason).

This mani was done with a layer of my new Nfu-oh Aqua Base and 2 coats of OPI Crim-Sun. The aqua base is supposed to help with the spottiness of holographic polishes however it did not work well with this particular polish. Maybe it only works with Nfu-Oh polishes? I don't know because I do not have any.

My new phone (and camera) come Monday Hoo-rah!
