News and Updates

Good evening everyone! I just wanted to give you a quick rundown of some new things here at Pretty & Polished!

As some of you have seen we have been working on some new labels. It started out that we would be offering the new labels on all full sized bottles. However we have tested a bunch of stuff out and have decided the new labels will be placed on the mini bottles soon and our full size bottles will have labels printed on the glass. We are about 4 weeks out from that though and you may see new labels on minis and fulls until we receive our new bottles. Thank you all for being patient and dealing with our testing. I look forward to hearing what you think of the new labels.

We are also working on setting up shop here on my website. This will be taking place over the next few weeks. I will keep everyone updated on our progress. Also over the next few weeks I am going to continue stocking the etsy store probably once a week. But the amount of stock will be cut down. During this time I will be working on a lot of custom orders and changing a lot of things around.

I know a lot of people have been somewhat disappointed in some of the more recent collections and releases. I apologize for that. I have been working really hard on keeping people interested and satisfied but I feel like I have lost my grip slightly on the polishes I enjoy making. I have many polishes that I have not released and have been working on them for a while. There is a lot of thought and a lot of me put into these polishes. I don't know when they will be released but I really hope I can bring everyone back to the real Pretty & Polished, the one that brought you Jawbreaker.

Thank you to all of my customers and everyone who has supported me, in all my ups and downs. Without you there would be no P&P.

  1. how can ANYONE be disappointed in your polishes? they are ALL gorgeous. Don't be discouraged. It's hard to be creative AND a businesswoman at the same time. Is it your fault everyone started copying you? Nooooo ...... Chin up xx

I don't see how people can be disappointed. Everyone has different tastes, and there's no way everybody will like every polish. You make lovely polish with a good formula, so as long as you keep doing that most people will be happy to continue being your customers, including me.

Sorry to read you are getting some complaints! It is impossible to please everyone. There are some people in this small microcosm of nail polish that want to take sellers down. I think you may be upset about the NFL thing and that's a normal response. I just found out about your polish a few months ago and have been playing catch-up on all your cool polishes! I hope to continue to patronize your store as long as you continue to keep doing what you're doing-that is making awesome polish! I get so many compliments and love the glitter, blingy, and subtle polish you make. Keep your chin up!

I recently stumbled across your page on Instagram. And I have to have your polish. With the way the economy is I have started doing my own nails. I try to stay up with what is current and popular colorwise and your polish is HOT! please let me know when we can start placing personal orders. I look forward to ordering colors like candy corn, blood clot, and the breast cancer awareness month colors. If Pretty and Polished hasn't made it to Miami yet I wanna help advertise it in the MIA. Good luck! And shake the haters off girlfriend. Where would the world be without haters?

You're too hard on yourself. You make great stuff. Everyone has at least one hit color. You've had several. It's hard to please everyone all the time, but with the amount of things on your plate, i'd say you're doing pretty good for yourself. just keep doin what you're doin
